There are four distinct HO plans that cover you from losses and damages.

HO-8 covers you from: Fire or lightning, windstorm or hail, explosion, glass breakage (including storm doors and windows. $100 limit), Damage by aircraft or non-owned motor vehicle, smoke damage, vandalism and loss by malicious theft damage, theft $1000 (on premises only).

HO-2 extends the insurance on your home and possessions to cover: weight of ice and snow, vehicle damage, smoke damage, heating system loss, water damage, freezing, Falling objects, collapse of building, and electrical damage.

HO-3 extends your coverage even further to protect against: water seepage, spilled chemicals, overheated appliances, dropped objects, accidental damage, and all unexpected losses to your residence.

HO-7 is the premier homeowner protection coverage it covers: Property (home and other structures, personal property), special limits of liability, pre-recorded computer programs, trees and shrubs, credit card, debit card, forgery or counterfeit money, loss assessment, food spoilage, lock replacement, reward coverage, fire department service charge, water back up (sewers, drains, sumps), ordinance or law, Earth movement for personal property, personal injury, and grave markers.
